A + L | couple’s session in Mendocino

Mendocino's coastline was the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Leigh's session, the place where they got engaged a year prior. This visit marked an important transition – with an upcoming move to New York, they wanted to memorialize the beginning of their relationship and capture their California chapter and the place where they built their first home together.

The day felt like magic - the moment I met Amanda and Leigh (and their 15-year-old pup, Sadie!), I knew the session would be special. We spent the morning at the MacCullum House in downtown Mendocino and then wandered through the Headlands together. What I love most about sessions like this is the opportunity to document not just how a couple looks, but who they are together. The love between Leigh and Amanda filled every frame - their comfortability and ease with each other spoke volumes about the depth of their connection.

it was such an honor to document this sweet little family and create images that will serve as a beautiful reminder of their life in California.
